The waters of Southeast Alaska provide a uniquely spectacular setting for fly fishing. Small streams rapidly descend the steep snow-capped mountains of the Tongass National Forest, eventually emptying into pristine estuaries. This is where schools of fish usually roam before returning to their natal streams to spawn. This annual act attracts migrating shore birds, sea birds and marine mammals alike. The health of these numerous small watersheds provides perfect over-wintering habitat for Dolly Varden char and Coastal Cutthroat trout, which wander out to sea in the early spring to feed. It also helps support multiple runs of salmon throughout the summer.
Catching bright salmon in the saltwater on a fly rod is a the thrill of a lifetime, so come join us! Follow these links for more information on our guided trips and fishing opportunities.
